About Women in Channels (WiC)

Our Mission
“Women in Channels is a professional organization that
champions the advancement of women in the Information
Technology Channel. We accomplish this through education,
networking, recognizing excellence, promoting leadership and
positioning our members at the forefront of the evolving IT
Channels arena.”

Women in Channels (WiC) is the brainchild of Angela
Trillhaase, a 25-year veteran of the IT industry and driving force
behind the organization. Established in May of 2007, the
organization attracted an immediate membership of 110
professionals in the IT Channel within the first six months of its
inception. Following the initial call for membership, five women
stepped forward to form the organization’s inaugural Board of
Directors, all of whom attended the first board meeting in
January of 2008 in Plano, Texas. WiC successfully filed Articles
of Incorporation and 501(c)3 status and are proud to be on track
with set plans to fulfill the aforementioned mission.
