Avoiding the Coming Leadership Crisis
There is a leadership crisis coming and it is coming fast. Every executive we’ve surveyed over the last year
has agreed with the statement that leadership development in the U.S. has been a failure over the last 50-
100 years. And with the retirement of so many Baby Boomers having already begun and certain to continue
over the next 7-10 years, the results of that failure are going to become painfully apparent in every sector of
society. The purpose of this presentation is to explore both the reasons for this failure and what we as
leaders can do today to develop the leaders we need in order to ensure continuing success.
